Wass recall offers versatility to Denmark

One of the Valencia CF internationals in action this week is Daniel Wass, who has been called up to the Denmark squad by new national team coach Kasper Hjulmand. The first game for them is against Belgium on Saturday, in Group 2 of League A in the UEFA Nations League.

Wass has featured in three preseason games for Valencia CF, occupying three different positions. Against CD Castellón he operated on the right wing, against Villarreal he went from fullback to central midfield, and against Levante UD he returned to fullback.

Denmark are part of a tough group in the competition -in its second edition. They will play Belgium, England and Iceland in the European tournament. The match against Belgium takes place at 8:45pm local time.
